OUR HERITAGE
Williams Holdings traces its roots back to 1956, when the business was first established by K. D. Williams. Over the decades, it became a respected name in Sri Lanka’s business landscape, known for reliability, quality, and professionalism.
The company was later transformed by the late Mr. K. D. N. Premaratne, a visionary who pioneered the professional event equipment rental industry in Kandy. His work laid the foundation for what would become the Central Province’s leading event infrastructure provider.
Following his passing in 2001, the responsibility of carrying this legacy forward was entrusted to the next generation.
Our Evolution
Building on this strong foundation, the company officially transitioned into Williams Holdings (Pvt) Ltd in 2012, sharpening its focus exclusively on event infrastructure, rentals, and event execution services.
Today, Williams Holdings is widely recognized as a premier event infrastructure and management solution provider in the Central Province, trusted for events of all scales — from elegant private functions to large-scale public and government events.
